Emotional Regulation
is a Skill...

Some of the parents I coach in my Parent Coaching practice have created a ‘Calm Down Corner’ in their homes for their kids and yet report to me that their kids rarely, if ever, use it. Well, there could be a variety of reasons for that and I’ll share that information with you in this Guidebook and I will give you tools and resources to create a Regulation Station that your kids will want to use.

Emotional regulation is a skill developed over a long period of time and not something a two-year-old, nor a twelve-year-old will have mastered. In fact, the child's brain isn’t fully developed until age 25+ and I’ll go into more detail and give you some of the science behind how the brain develops in this FREE Guidebook about how a Regulation Station can help.

Parents Recommend

"This guidebook normalizes the struggles most parents face and offers solutions without judgment. I loved the long list of sample regulation activities because I feel we have great intentions, but not a lot of strategies for how to do it. It's such valuable information and I'm grateful that you're helping it get to more people."

The Hard Truth...
And the Solution

The truth is, the mind-body system wants to cope with difficult emotions and it will find a way to do this, even if it's unsupportive or even harmful. This is the reason many adults today struggle with things like emotional eating or addictions. With self-harm and self-injury amongst kids on the rise in our complex world today, we need to be moving our parenting on to a path that supports the positive development of self-esteem and self-worth in children.

Having been part of many parenting groups on various platforms for several years and coaching kids and parents in my own practice, it’s become apparent that parents are lacking information, resources, tools and strategies to empower their kids emotionally (…and themselves!). It’s also important to note that kids are unique – there isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution to raising resilient kids. But with this guidebook, I promise you will get a head-start on empowering your family.

THIS IS A NEW LENS FOR MANY FAMILIES!"

"I really like all the suggestions you make and the personal story you shared. This was a good example of what happens in the moment to many of us! You provide great information for families and really give the background for all of the strategies. I also like the portion where you discuss the misconception about time-outs and punishments. This is a new lens for many families, so it is nice to see some information on that. I also like how you emphasize that children should be collaborators in their Regulation Station. The information is very accurate.”

" AN AMAZING PROCESS!

Ashley has been impressive since the first time we met. My wife and I are currently taking the parent coaching program and

I have learned a ton about parenting, myself, my wife, and other parents. It has been an amazing process of finding the best way to model and teach your kids skills that were not handed to us by our own parents.

I would highly recommend Ashley and the parent coaching program to all parents."
