Why Yoga?

Yoga is a powerful tool for enhancing self-esteem in children, offering numerous psychological and physical benefits. Studies show yoga can significantly improve children's self-perception and confidence. The Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics found regular yoga helps children develop better emotional regulation and coping skills, leading to increased self-assurance. Yoga also promotes physical fitness and body awareness; mastering poses boosts their sense of accomplishment and physical competence. Additionally, mindfulness practices in yoga foster positive thinking and self-compassion, enhancing self-esteem as shown in The Journal of Psychology Research and Behavior Management.
